Split Records is a Cardiff-based outfit which really is all about the music - there are no genre boundaries, no pigeon-holing, just quality music.
The label's debut single comes from studio-based project, Mendoza, founded around vocalist Arianne Schreiber and production duo Max Odell and Brett Parker.
Arianne's compelling vocals led to her being signed to George Michael's label, Aegean Records, and after collaborating with Odell and Parker during their time
at the core of Top 40 act Manchild, Mendoza was born.
The track is a reworking of the Manchild single 'Nothing Without Me', which has been brought up-to-date and overhauled with the help of up-and-coming
producer/programmer Harry Peat and further mixes from acclaimed remixers/ producers Different Gear.

The main mixes on the first 12" come from rising star Harry Peat, a highly respected young producer whose recent work includes mixes for Goldfrapp,
Dave Gahan (Depeche Mode), Loose Cannons and Frou Frou. Combining a cool house groove with a funky hook, this slick production is set to take the
dance charts by storm.
Further mixes will follow from Different Gear, aka production duo Gino Scaletti and Quinn Whalley. Their status in the realm of dance music has been firmly
established with quality productions including 'Drink to Get Drunk' (Sia Vs Different Gear), and remixes of chart-breaking dance acts including
Puretone ('Addicted to Bass') and Goldtrix (It's Love [Trippin]').
Mendoza will be breaking out of the studio and into a venue near you with a string of dates to promote the single and future releases. An album is also in the
pipeline, due for release next year on Split Records.
